The San Mateo County Law Library is located at 710 Hamilton Street, in downtown Redwood City, directly across from the Hall of Justice, 400 County Center, on the corner of Marshall and Hamilton. Parking The Law Library does not have public parking available. The parking lot surrounding the Law Library is restricted permit parking only; violators will be ticketed. Metered street parking is available. City parking regulations are strictly enforced Monday through Saturday, 10am to 6pm. Bring quarters. Two municipal parking garages are within walking distance: the County Parking Garage at Middlefield Road and Veterans Boulevard, and the Redwood City Municipal Garage on Marshall Street, two blocks east of the Law Library (across from the Downtown Fire Station). Please park responsibly. The San Mateo County Law Library is not responsible for your parkingtickets or driving infractions. Directions to the Law Library From El Camino Real: Turn at Broadway: If coming from the North, turn left; if coming from the South, turn right. Drive four blocks to the intersection of Marshall and Hamilton. (Broadway becomes Marshall Street at the railroad tracks.) From Highway 101 (Bayshore Freeway) : If coming from the South: Take the Whipple Avenue exit from Highway 101. Cross back over the freeway and turn left at the first light, which is Veterans Boulevard. Drive to Jefferson Avenue, turn right. Drive to Marshall Street, turn right. Drive to Hamilton Street. The Law Library is on the far left hand corner of the intersection of Marshall and Hamilton. If coming from the North: Take the Whipple Avenue exit from Highway 101. As you exit you will be on Veterans Boulevard. Continue driving straight ahead to Jefferson Avenue, turn right. Drive to Marshall Street, turn right. Drive to Hamilton Street. The Law Library is located on the far left hand corner of the intersection of Marshall and Hamilton. From Highway 280: Take the Farmhill Boulevard exit. Drive East on Farmhill Boulevard into Redwood City. (At one point, the road name changes to Jefferson, but there is no significant change in direction.) Cross El Camino Real, and then the railroad tracks. Drive two more blocks to Marshall Street, turn left. Drive two blocks to Hamilton Street. The Law Library is located on the far left hand corner of the intersection of Marshall and Hamilton. Public Transportation : The Law Library is two blocks East of the Redwood City CalTrain station and is served by SamTrans buses 270 and 271. Maps
